During their event in Shanghai, China today, Microsoft confirmed that they will be releasing a new version of the Surface Pro, which they say has been rethought from the ground up to become the lightest Surface Pro that they have ever created.

It features a 12.3-inch display that has a 267ppi pixel density and 3:2 aspect ratio along with support for a new Surface Pen stylus that Microsoft claims to be the fastest digital pen on the market.

That pen provides 4,096 levels of pressure, features a 21ms latency and special tilt sensitivity.

To top that off, the Surface Pro will also feature Intel’s latest 7th generation processors, with a battery life that Microsoft say will last for up to 13.5 hours.

It also features a new hinge that allows it to be used in a “Surface Studio” mode, which allows it to be laid flat.

They also revealed that the Surface Laptop and Surface Studio will be coming to the UK on June 15th.

It will be available from numerous retailers in the UK, including Argos, Amazon, Currys PC World and John Lewis on June 15th alongside the Surface Laptop and Studio for £799.

You can also pre-order it today if you are interested.
