Back in 2015, Microsoft acquired the previously popular task management application Wunderlist, leaving users to think about finding a new solution to manage their tasks.

Today they have finally released the first public preview of their replacement app for Wunderlist, To-Do.

A lot of this app is similar to what Wunderlist did previously, however, thanks to the Microsoft acquisition, Microsoft has also built-in an intelligent suggestion feature as well as integration with Office 365, which they explained more about with the following:

To-Do is built on Office 365, which in coming months will enable the product to be even more useful in more places. Our first integration with Outlook makes it easy to stay on top of your Outlook Tasks from anywhere. It will automatically sync your Tasks with To-Do, and allow you to access and manage them across devices.

Users can try it out on all Android phone now and will be able for Android tablets as well soon, however, they aren’t requiring you to switch just yet.

Once we are confident that we have incorporated the best of Wunderlist into To-Do, we will retire Wunderlist. While the name and icon may change, the team that brought you Wunderlist continues on. We look forward to making To-Do even more useful, intuitive and personal.

Once they have released it, you will be able to use Microsoft’s existing importer to get started with your existing to-do items.

But if you want to get started today, you can download the preview of Microsoft To-Do on Android, iOS and Windows 10 today, or you can just check it out on the web.
