Microsoft has today announced a new application for both iOS and Android, aiming to make it easier to make plans with family and friends, Tossup has been developed by the Microsoft Garage.

To do this Tossup will aim to help groups decide on plans by giving them suggestions and allow the members of those groups to vote and suggest other options.

From it members can make decisions regarding timing, availability, what to do, nearby venues and limits of spending.

To do this the app will use Bing to get information such as opening hours, reviews, addresses and more.

Users can also vote on other topics like what to buy, or who might win an upcoming game for example.

Jennifer Shen a developer at Microsoft explained.

“Tossup removes the friction around planning. It’s really about connecting with people, removing barriers that cause plans to fall through. Our aim is for you to spend more time hanging out with friends rather than coordinating schedules.”
