Microsoft recently announced that they had sold 750,000 Xbox 360 consoles in the week leading up to and during Black Friday which includes dates from November 18th up to November 23rd.

It’s worth noting that the figures do not include the weekend after Black Friday or the Cyber Monday deals, but even though these numbers may seem large, last year the company sold 960,000 units during the Black Friday week.

However the company also announced that Xbox Live Gold subscriptions rose by 50% during that same week when compared to the week of Black Friday of last year.

It’s currently unclear how these sales marked up against the various versions of the console, but it’s probably likely that numbers were lower this year due to a lot people already owning the console.
