You may remember that Microsoft teased an upcoming budget smartphone announcement yesterday, well that budget announcement was today and that announcement was the newly branded Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual-SIM smartphone.

And to make it budget friendly, the 430 also comes with a price tag of just $70, or around £50.

For that you get a 4 inch screen with a 800 x 480 pixel resolution that has 233ppi, alongside a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of onboard storage, a microSD card slot for up to 128GB of extra storage and 15GB of free OneDrive cloud capacity.

On the back of the smartphone you will also find a 2 megapixel camera, alongside a front-facing VGA camera.

Alongside that, the Microsoft Lumia 430 will also come with the Microsoft Phone OS pre-installed along with Lumia Denim, which means it will come with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint pre-installed.

The Microsoft 430 Dual-SIM will be available in April, but only in the Middle East and Africa, the Asia-Pacific region, Russia, Kazakhstan, and Belarus.
