Back at last year’s E3, Microsoft teased the upcoming release of a console that will change how we think about games consoles, well at least according to the company.

But they didn’t reveal many details about the console back then.

Today they revealed that they will finally provide us with some of those details at the press conference during their E3 2017 press conference, sending a press invite (pictured above) which features an image of the Scorpio and teasing these new announcements.

It has previously been rumoured that Project Scorpio will feature eight cores, six teraflops of GPU bandwidth, 320GB/s memory bandwidth, full backwards compatibility, and compatibility with 4K and VR gaming.

None of this has been officially confirmed just yet.

We will let you know more when we hear it from the event, which will kick off on the Sunday of E3 at 11:00 AM EST.
