Earlier this week we heard rumours that Microsoft will launch OneNote on the Mac, and it seems now those rumours where true as the app has now been launched on the Mac App Store in the US.

At the time of writing this the app has not made it in the UK Mac App Store, or any other app store besides the US one, and no information has been released on whether it will or even when it will so far, however as we hear more we will let you know.

In terms of the actual app, it is basically the same as the version for Windows, allowing users to curate their own digital notebook, users can use the app to make notes about pretty much anything in their life, be it in a text form or a picture form. It’s sort of like Evernote but made by Microsoft.

The app will also allow you to edit notes on other applications on the go, as well as allowing users to share the notes and collaborate with other users on multiple devices.

You can find out more about the app and download it from the Mac App Store, however if it hasn’t reached you app store yet, head on over to the Microsoft website for more.
