Microsoft first announced the education edition of Minecraft back in January of this year.

Now we know that they are getting ready to launch this edition, announcing that they will be launching the Minecraft Education Edition in June 2016.

This comes after the company have developed the features of the edition with the help of educators, students and administrators.

When it is released it will be available as an early access program first, available to try for free before Microsoft finally releases it to the public officially.
