The tracking product expert Misfit has today announced the launch of their first smartwatch, the Phase.

It’s similar to Misfit’s other products in that it can track the steps that you have taken, the distance that you have travelled, as well as the duration and quality of your sleep.

The Phase does include a few other features specifically for the smartwatch market, with a watch face that is similar to a regular analogue watch, but features like a 3-axis accelerometer bring a number of smart features to this watch.

It can also show activity, alarm, and notification data, with a small colour window and the ability to vibrate to display alerts.

The watch can notify you of calls, texts, and messages from compatible apps, as well as reminders of when to move.

You can also change the watch bands, and the Phase can be used to remotely control your music playback, with the ability to take pictures from a connected smartphone.

It is also water resistant to 50 metres, with a battery that is said to last six-months.

The Misfit Phase will be available from mid-November in six colour finishes from £165.
