Today Fossil Group’s Misfit announce the company’s first touchscreen smartwatch at CES 2017. It is the company’s most advanced smartwatch to date, featuring all of the standard fitness and sleep tracking features, alongside optical heart rate monitoring, built-in GPS, and standalone music playback.

Like other fitness trackers, it is capable of counted the amount of steps that you have taken, the calories that you have burned, the distance that you have travelled, and the quality of your sleep.

On top of that, it will also provide you with elevation data, information about your heart rate and because it has built-in GPS and standalone music playback, you can take it on the go, without the need for a phone alongside it.

Misift has also fitted the smartwatch with a 44mm stainless steel body that is water resistant up to 50-metres and is available in either Jet Black or in Rose Gold.

Wearers can also customise it with a set of interchangeable straps.

To finish off the specs, the Misfit Vapor features a 1.39-inch round display, Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, 4GB of storage, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, and a two-day battery life.

The Misfit Vapor will be available later this year for $199.
