Sainsbury’s and Vodafone have today teamed up to launch a brand new mobile network in the UK that will take on he likes of Tesco and Asda.

Called Mobile by Sainsbuty’s the new network will be run as a joint venture between the supermarket and Vodafone UK, combining the Sainsbury’s brand and retail distribution with Vodafone’s technology and network.

The new network will be sold in stores and Sainsbury’s online store, launching in summer of this year.

There’s no news on the kind of price points they will be offering yet however.
