Laptops are extremely useful for everything apart from gaming, especially when your running something like the MacBook Air, where there is a trade-off for its design.

However that didn’t mean anything to one modder, who decided he was going to make his 11-inch MacBook Air a gaming beast, hooking up his self-made external GPU concoction to his MacBook Air via a Thunderbolt cable.

The kit contains a PCI Express video card, that links to the MacBook with the use of two separate adapters, a Boot Camp installation of Windows 7 and a set of third-party drivers, allowing him to play any game he wants on the highest setting.
