Today Mophie announced the launch of their latest powerbank, the Powerstation USB-C XXL.

As the name suggests, this powerbank has been designed for charging USB-C devices, however, not just any old USB Type-C device but MacBook devices.

In fact, Mophie says that the Powerstation USB-C XXL can provide up to 14 hours of MacBook charging on the go via its rechargeable 19,500mAh battery, which is pretty huge and is capable of delivering power to your MacBook at up to 30W speeds, which is more than enough to charge a normal Retina MacBook, however, it won’t work as well with a MacBook Pro.

But when yyou’re not charging a MacBook, the powerbank also features a standard USB-A port for charging normal devices such as an iPhone or iPad with 2.4A fast charging on top for supported devices.

When the Powerstation is connected between your device and the wall power then the PowerStation will charge your device first and then it will top the Powerstation off next. Mophie says that the Powerstation takes just three hours to charge when used with USB-C power adapters.

And there’s an LED power indicator with four lights that show this charging status and the remaining battery.

The Mophie Powerstation USB-C XXL  is available through Mophie’s website today and will also be sold in Apple’s stores for $149.95 in the US or £149.95 in the UK, you can find out more at the source link below.
