Morrisons has today revealed that they have signed a deal with Amazon to install hundreds of Amazon lockers in its UK supermarkets.

These would be installed in supermarkets this year.

Currently, there are more than 1,000 Amazon Lockers around the UK, in locations that will include everything from shopping centres all the way up to universities.

These all customers who are unable to take a delivery at home to get their package delivered to one of these Amazon Lockers.

Once delivered, customers will receive a unique barcode, which they can use to scan or enter at the locker to access their package.

Amazon has said that its supermarkets are “ideal locations” for customers to collect their items from.

It’s is certainly more convenient, allowing you to get your package delivered to one of these boxes and then pick it up later when you go shopping.
