Motorola today announced that their Moto Maker service will make its way to the UK at the end of September, allowing users to create their own customised Moto X.

The service will launch alongside the new Moto X smartphone and will allow users to change a number of design elements such as the back cover, or bezel.

Motorola has also announced that they will be adding leather as a new back cover material, with two cow leathers being mode available, black and brown. This comes alongside the current wood and range of colours that are available.

Users can also request and inscription to add to the back of their phone, however this will be moderated somewhat.

The Moto X will start at £419.99 and go up to £479.99 using this service.
