Earlier today Motorola may have ‘accidentally’ leaked the 2nd generation device for the Moto 360 smartwatch in a Tweet today, which was then quickly deleted.

The Tweet contained a link to a YouTube video, only lasting 15 seconds, but showing a quick look at the 2nd gen smartwatch, thanks to the video being archived on a number of other YouTube channels.

It looks to feature the same round design as the previous 360, but it now looks as though the strap lugs are more pronounced, and there seems to be a side button that slides up.

This could be a simple accident however we think it is more likely that Motorola wanted to quickly tease the 2nd gen Moto 360 after Samsung’s tease yesterday, teasing it in a leak as generally leaks get a lot more attention, but that’s just one of our assumptions.

As of yet we don’t have anything more official than that, or even any rumours, however we expect that Motorola will be unveiling the second generation Moto 360 smartwatch at IFA 2015.

In the meantime you can check out that leaked video above.
