During their event today Motorola announced a brand new smartphone, the first one since Lenovo acquired the company earlier this year.
Called the Moto X Style, it features a 5.7 inch display, Android Lollipop and “one of the best cameras in the world,” featuring a 21 megapixel rear-facing camera.
The Moto X Style also features a 5.7 inch Quad HD screen with a tiny bezel that allows for more display real estate and a smaller body, whilst featuring what Motorola claims to be the “wold’s fastest charging” technology, allowing it to charge up to 50 per cent faster than the S6 according to the company.
Motorola also announced the Moto X Play during their live stream, also featuring a 21 megapixel camera and a 3630mAh battery, which is 42% more battery than the S6 and is said to last 8 hours from just 15 minutes of charging, with a total 48 hour battery life according to the company.
The Moto X Play also has a 5.5 inch edge-to-edge HD display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
Moto X Style will be available in September, and the Moto X Play will be available in August.
