Motorola has today announced the new next-generation Moto G, priced at 1.3 of the cost of other flagship devices, but with a number of high-end specs and a camera that Motorola says is one of the best in the market.
The 2015 edition of the Moto G will also feature a 5 inch 720p display, 1.4GHz Snapdragon 410 processor, between 1 and 2 GB of RAM, 8 and 16 GB of storage and a 13 megapixel rear-facing camera and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
It also runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and comes with IPX7 certification, which means it can withstand submersion in up to 3 feet of water for 30 minutes.
It has also been fitted with 4G connectivity, a microSD card slot, dual-tone flash and a 20 per cent bigger battery than last year’s model.
The Moto G will be available around the world from today, no pricing has been announced yet though.
