Motorola has today announced their new DROID range in a new partnership with Verizon, they will be launching a new Droid Maxx, with a battery capacity that will allow it to last longer than many other handsets.

This battery is 3500mAh, which is 200mAh more than the previous device in the range, and is said to last as long as 48 hours from a single charge

And even with this, the Droid Maxx still packs pretty impressive specs, including a 5 inch HD OLED display, 1.7GHz processor,2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, and the size isn’t very large despite its battery with dimensions at 137.5×71.20×8.5 mm and weighing only 160 grams, it’s still pretty thin and light.

And to top it all off the Maxx will also sport a 10 Megapixel camera with Motorola’s new ClearPixel technology.

The device will be available on Verizon in the US for £299.99 on a two-year contract, shipping on August 20th.
