Its been rumored for some time, but now finally it is official, Motorola have today unveiled the Moto X smartphone during their event in New York City, announcing that it will be the first smartphone to be manufactured in the US, and will be aimed at the mid-range market.

Featuring a Kevlar back design with a 720p 4.7 inch OLED display with a 1.7GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, the choice of either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage.

There’s also a 10 megapixel camera on the back and a 2.1 megapixel camera on the front, as well as support for LTE, NFC, Bluetooth 4.0+ EDR and 802.11ac Wi-Fi.

Available in the US, the Moto X will be available on five separate carriers for $199, and will be available at the beginning of August.
