Vodafone has just sent us confirmation that they will be launching the Motorola Moto G with the new KitKat OS pre-installed, but they did so without any specific date for release, as is the usual case for Vodafone, however we expect the handset to hit stores in the UK sometime in January.

This comes after the smartphone hit the US back in December, alongside the announcement of an event that Motorola will be hosting on January 14th.

In terms of specs, the Moto G features a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor, with 1GB of RAM, a 4.5 inch 720p HD screen, 5-megapixel rear-facing camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and a 2,070mAh battery.

There’s no price for the Uk version of the handset yet, but given it was priced at $179 for the 8GB model and $199 for the 16GB model, we expect that the handset will be available for between £108 and £120.
