At Computex 2016 this week, MSI revealed a brand new graphics card lineup, called the GTX 1080, which they have yet to reveal full details on, but thankfully they have given us an idea of what to call them by.
The lowest of the new line are the GTX 1080 Aero 8G and the GTX 1080 Aero 8G OC, which have clock speeds of 1,607 MHz / 1,733 MHz and 1,632MHz / 1,771 MHz respectively.
They also feature a standard design that pumps hot air into the case, but if you are strapped for cash, and if you really want a new graphics card then they may be a good option for you.
Next up in the line are the GTX 1080 Armor 8G and the GTX 1080 Armor 8G OC, both of which have a dual-fan cooler by MSI’s design, which means they should remain chilled and work much better than the Aero models.
These have clock speeds of 1,607MHz / 1,733MHz and 1,657MHz / 1,797MHz respectively.
They both also have an additional 6pin power connector, which means they will also require two PCIe power cables.
We don’t yet know the pricing for any of these models, but we will let you know when we do.
