MSI have today unveiled a new laptop that will rival the Retina display of the Macbook Pro, dubbed the MSI GT60 the new laptop has the world’s highest resolution notebook screen that is currently available, featuring a 2880 x 1620 or 3K pixel resolution.

This all fits into a 15.6 inch WQHD display that is powered by a 2.4GHz Intel Core i7 processor, NVIDIA GeForce GTX 780M GPU, 16GB DDR3L 16000MHz RAM, 128GB SSD, 1TB hard drive and a 9 cell version.

There will also be a workstation version of the GT60 which will also be capable of outputting to three separate external displays and will feature a Blu-ray burner drive as well as a NVIDIA Quadro K3100M GPU.

The MSI GT60 notebook is available today for $2,200 and the GT60 workstation will be priced at $2800.
