Today Neato announced their new and most connected robot vacuum cleaner at IFA 2017 called the Neato D7 Connected.

This new robot will be released alongside the D3 and D5 Connected devices that were launched at last year’s IFA event as well as the Botvac Connected model that they announced n 2015.

As the name might suggest, the D7 Connected has the newest features out of all of these, featuring the same D-shape design as the rest of their cleaners, but with brand new connected technology inbuilt.

This comes with support for a range of smart technologies, including IFTTT, Amazon Alexa, Google Home and more.

It also features Neato’s FloorPlanner Advanced Mapping and Cleaning technology.

This technology allows users to access a range of smart cleaning technology with the D7 Connected via what Neato is calling a Cleaning Map. Basically, the robot will scan your home in Discovery Mode and then create something called the MyFloorPlan, which users can access via the Neato app and then set No-Go lines to stop the cleaner from accessing specific areas.

This means that you don’t need to put up physical barriers anymore.

But that’s not all, it also comes with robust suction, an ultra-performance filter, a turbo mode, and an improved brush system according to Neato.

The Neato D7 Connected will cost £799/$799/€899 and be available in the US and Europe in Q4 of 2017.
