Netflix has this week announced a new update to its iOS application.

In this update, users will be able to take advantage of iOS 9’s picture-in-picture mode, allowing them to windows a stream of a video into a small box that can be placed on the top corner of the screen, above any apps that they might be using.

This allows owners of the iPad with iOS 9.3.2 or above to multitask properly, finally.

This comes after a number of other apps have done the same, with the likes of Hulu and more adding picture-in-picture support some time ago.

To take advantage of the feature with Netflix, all you need to do is make sure you have iOS 9.3.2 or above and update the app to version 9.7.0 or above.
