Late last year Netflix added the ability to download a view content offline, leading to a lot of lost storage.

From today, Android users will be able to take back some of that storage and add to it with extra space for more content, thanks to the addition of SD card support.

This new support allows you to download content to your SD card rather than just your internal storage.

Downloading content is still the same as before, however, there is a new ‘Download Location’ option in the settings that allows you to save content to this removable card.

We are sure that many Android users will be happy about this, with the ability to fill your phone completely with Netflix content if you so choose to.

Of course, this feature isn’t coming to iOS since iOS devices do not have SD card slots.

The iOS version did get some bug fixes though.

You can download the app from your respective store today on iOS and Android.
