Today Netflix unveiled some pretty interesting news, announcing that they have added 3.2 million international customers in the last three months, a number that is quite a bit larger than the analysists prediction of 2 million new customers.

In the US alone, Netflix stated that they have added 370,000 customers in the last 3 months, a 21% increase in subscribers since last year.

In total, Netflix had 83.3 million subscribers at the end of September.

As part of this, Netflix said that its quarterly revenues rose 31% to $2.29 billion (around £1.88 billion).

The result of this is a 20% increase in Netflix’s share price to $119 in after-hours, all despite recent concern that Netflix’s growth was slowing.

As news develops about this, we will let you know.
