According to a recent report, Netflix has been streaming High Dynamic Range (HDR) and Dolby Vision content in the UK.

According to the report from InsideCI, the platform is now streaming this content on selected TV screens, starting with ones made by Sony, and will come as part of Netflix’s 4K streaming package.

The report goes on to state that there is an update for this already ready for Sony TV’s with Android 4K, which includes the Sony X85C, S85C, X90C, X93C and X93C televisions.

Sony’s new SD85, XD85, XD93 and XD94 will also reportedly support HDR playback from Netflix.

This content will be available with Netflix’s original content, including shows like Marco Polo.

With these HDR streams you will get better clarity, and if you have a TV that supports it, Netflix is also working on support for Dolby’s Vision content.

However, Netflix has not confirmed any of this as of yet.
