Today Netgear unveiled their latest wireless router, the Netgear Nighthawk X10.

The router follows on from Netgear’s previous models in their Nighthawk range, but also build upon that with a range of new features that are sure to impress.

The Netgear R9000 Nighthawk AD7200 Qu-Stream wireless router is MU-MIMO compatible and features speeds of up to 7,200Mb per second, with 60GHz 802.11ad WiFi streams.

It also has a built-in Plex media server, allowing you to stream media to all of your devices, with ReadyCLOUD USB access to linking USB storage to the cloud, the ReadySHARE Vault for automatically backing up a PC to a USB hard drive that is connected to the service and both DLNA and VPN support.

Inside it also comes with a 1.7GHz Quad-Core processor, 6x Gigabit Ethernet ports, a 10G Lan SFP+ port and a set of high-performance active antennas.

It will also come with Parental controls in-built, with the ability to connect to Netgear’s Genie app.

It is available now for $499.99.
