Yesterday we posted an article going through what we think that you can expect from Microsoft’s education event later today, in that we said that one of the biggest things that you should expect is the release of an education-focused laptop that has been built to combat the Chromebook.
Microsoft is expected to unveil this device during their New York City event later today, but before then, what could be that Chromebook competitor has been leaked.
Called the Surface Laptop, it was leaked today with a 13.5-inch display that is said to feature a 3:2 aspect ratio, a 1080p resolution, and the ability to show up to 3.4 million pixels.
The report also claimed that it will come alongside Microsoft’s Alcantara keyboard, which is the same fabric that they used for the Surface Pro 4 keyboard.
We can also see some ports in the leaked images, which show the device with a USB port, a mini DisplayPort, and the usual Surface power connector.
Unfortunately, that’s about all that we have heard so far.
We should hear about the official stuff later today.
