We already know that Google will be releasing a new Nexus 7 tablet later this year, but we don’t exactly what this would look like or what it what it will feature. Thankfully Gizmodo Australia has received some details alongside an image of the device revealing both the specs and design for the upcoming Google tablet.

The document that was leaked states is that the device will be built by Asus and will feature a 7 inch IPS display with 1280 x 800 resolution and a 178 degree viewing angle, it will also be powered by a 1.3Ghz quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 Processor, 1GB of RAM and a GeForce 12-core GPU as well as the choice between 8GBs of 16GBs of storage.

The device will also feature a 1.2 megapixel front facing camera (no rear one weirdly), NFC connectivity as well as Google’s new Jelly Bean OS, the most important point however is of course the price which has been reported to start at $199 for the 8GB model and $249 for the 16GB model.
