You say remember the introduction of Nike’s limited edition Air Mags back in March, they were a proof-of-concept pair of shoes that were capable of lacing themselves, but they were only available in limited numbers, with some people only being able to wear them for a few hours.

Today, Nike announced that they will be launching a consumer version of these self-lacing sneakers on December 1st for $720, called the HyperAdapt 1.0.

These shoes will still be capable of automatically tightening their laces when the wearer’s heel hits a sensor in the bottom of the shoe, with adjustable controls on the side.

They are a pretty cool piece of tech and are definitely a big statement that you can make on the go.

They will be available in White, Black and Metallic Silver, you can check out some images of those colours below.
