Nikon has today announced a couple of Wi-Fi enabled camera to hit the market, dubbed the Nikon Coolpix S6800 and the Nikon Coolpix S5300, both have similar features, minus a couple for the S5300.

Both offering Full HD video recording and Nikon’s Glamour Retouch picture effects, both cameras can be hooked up to a smartphone or tablet, which can then be used as a remote control.

The Coolpix S6800 will also feature a 12x optical zoom and a 24x dynamic Fine Zoom, with a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor and a wide-angle lens that can zoom between 25 and 300mm.

The S6800 can also shoot 7 consecutive shots at 8.4fps.

The Coolpix S5300 also features the same 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, but it instead has an 8x optical zoom and a 16x Dynamic FIne Zoom.

The Nikon Coolpix S6800 will be available in black, red, white and pink for £199.99, and the Coolpix S5300 will be offered in black and plum for £169.99.
