Nikon has finally announced their first Wi-Fi compact digital camera with that long-awaited Android operating system built-in, this camera basically allows you to take photos like a point and shoot would but with the simplicity and ease of use as a smartphone or tablet.

The S800c can easily capture photos or record HD video one moment and the next it can be sharing all of that on your favorite social network without the need of a computer.

The S800c packs a NIKKOR zoom lens with a 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, which is great up-close or at distance and in low and high lighting conditions. The new coolpix also features an optical 10X zoom, with a wide-angle lens of 25-250mm, alongside which this point and shoot also includes Nikon’s VR optical image stabilisation software for blur-free photos and stable videos.
