In the form of an update from the Coolpix P7700, Nikon has today announced the release of the new Nikon Coolpix P7800, which will be marketing toward the high-end market and now features a new viewfinder in the top-left corner, that packs a 921k dot-resolution.

The controls for the camera have also been tweaked, but mostly everything else stays the same as the P7700.

Featuring a 28-200mm f/2.0-4.0 lens and a 12 megapixel 1/1.7 inch CMOS sensor.

The Nikon Coolpix P7800 will be available in black from September 26th 2013, costing £499.99.
