Nikon has today announced two new superzoom cameras, the Coolpix P600 and the Coolpix P530.
The Nikon Coolpix P600 has an 60x optical zoom Nikkor lens, that is extendable up to 120x with the Digital Dynamic Fine Zoom, allowing it to cover 24-1,440mm, as well as Super ED glass.
There’s also a vari-angle LCD screen on the back that features a resolution of 921k dots, as well as an advanced lens shift vibration reduction built-in allowing for clearer and less fuzzy pictures and 60x, as well as reducing shake when shooting and moving at the same time.
The P600 can also record 1080p 60i video, with stereo sound and a continuous shooting speed of 7fps.
It will be available in black or red for £429.99 from 27 February.
The Coolpix P530 is the second of the two cameras and has been designed for those on a budget, featuring a 42x optical zoom that is extendable up to 84x with the Digital Dynamic Fine Zoom, as well as a back-illuminated 16 megapixel CMOS sensor, 3 inch 921k dots LCD screen and electronic viewfinder.
The P530 can also record video in Full HD.
