After months of waiting, and a few presumptuous release dates, we finally have an official release date for No Man’s Sky, which was officially announced to be released on June 21st today.

The 3/3 date we saw earlier this week was actually the date of which you can pre-order the game from, which is of course today. With the game available to pre-order from today on various sites like Amazon, and we presume the PlayStation Store, however, that has not been updated just yet.

We do also have a confirmation of a collector’s edition for the game, which has been to include a cool-looking box, a pin, stickers, an 8-inch tin replica ship that includes its own display base a backdrop.

It’s pictured above and will be priced at $149.99, although we don’t yet know other pricing.

In terms of the standard edition, that will be available in both a boxed and digital edition for $59.99.

The game will only be available on the PC and PlayStation 4 when it launches on June 21st.
