Today HMD Global, the manager of the Nokia smartphone brand unveiled the latest smartphone flagship, the Nokia 8.

This new device has been designed to take on the rest of the competition with high-end specifications that finally put Nokia back on the map. Let’s get started with the Snapdragon 835 processor and the 5.3-inch 2,560 x 1,440-pixel resolution, which both allow Nokia to easily compete with OnePlus, HTC, and Samsung.

But they actually go one better than that.

Nokia has also revived its partnership with Zeiss, which has allowed them to work with the precision optics company to launch a new dual camera on the back of the phone that doesn’t offer better zoom, however, it does aim to provide increased quality by capturing photos with two sensors, one of which captures RGB colour data and the other captures monochrome.

On top of that, there’s also a 13-megapixel front camera that can not only allow you to take photos with both the front and back camera at the same time but also take videos with the front and back cameras at the same time. It also comes with Ozo Audio, which allows you to capture binaural audio.

The Nokia 8 will be available in four colours for €599 in September globally, sadly, we don’t know about UK pricing or availability just yet.
