Nokia has announced today that they will be releasing a new Windows Phone 7.5 device, the Lumia 510 is a new device that they claim will bridge the gap between its Symbian handsets and the new Windows Phone devices.

The 510 packs a 4 inch touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera, 256MBs of RAM, 4GBs of storage but no memory card slot although their will be 7GBs of free SkyDrive storage to make up for it.

Obviously they aren’t the most amazing specs on a phone to date, so I wouldn’t advice giving up something like the Lumia 610 for instance.

The new Nokia Lumia 510 is available in red, yellow, cyan, white and black from November for around $200 (no word on a UK availability or pricing yet).
