After a long wait, Nokia has finally announced the launch date for the Nokia Lumia 1520 in the UK, revealing that it will be available to buy for Brits on Friday December 6th, just in time for the Christmas rush.

The smartphone is the first in its Windows Phone class to feature a quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, alongside a 6-inch screen that features a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, making it an extremely interesting smartphone. Alongside those specs it is also supported by 2GB of RAM and features a 20MP PureView camera with a 3400mAh battery, Windows Phone 8 OS and wireless charging.

The Nokia Lumia 1520 will be available O2, Vodafone, Carphone Warehouse and Phones4u from December 6th, with prices starting at £38 per month.
