Nokia has today announced that it will be partnering with JBL to create a new range of wireless speakers named the JBL PlayUp Portable Wireless Speakers for Nokia smartphones running Windows Phone 8.

The speakers will come with JBL’s sound smarts and deliver a maxium output of 89dB, which is not to shabby, alongside that the speakers will also feature Bluetooth and NFC connectivity for wireless playback, and will launch alongside the Windows Phone 8 operating system in September, and if you don’t have a Bluetooth enabled device, you can plug it in via the 3.5mm input jack.

Alongside the speakers and accessory app will also be launched on the Google Play Store, the JBL PlayUp’s will begin shipping before the end of the year and will be available in black, bright yellow and white for €149.
