Nope is pretty well known for their covers that can be used with various devices in order to cover up your webcam and protect yourself from potential hackers, the most recent of which was the Nope 2.0 that we talked about earlier this year.

Today they launched a brand new version of that webcam cover that is just 0.3mm thick and measures just 15.6mm x 6.5mm.

On top of being extremely compact, it is also really simple to use while featuring a design that complements the latest laptops or smartphones. You stick it on with 3M tape and move the slider in order to cover and uncover your webcam.

Alongside this new cover, they also launched something that they are calling the Sound Blocker.

This device expands the blocking of potential hacks to your microphone, which can be hacked into and used to listen into your conversations.

It plugs into the 3.5mm port on your MacBook and uses micro electronic circuitry to turn off the device’s onboard microphone and block out any potential listening in.

And it doesn’t work with just the MacBook, it has also been designed to work with laptops, desktops, and various smartphones.

Check them both out in the video below and be sure to hit up the source link below that to find out more about the new Nope devices and in order to pledge to pre-order one.
