Nvidia announced their next generation GPU at GDC 2015 this week, dubbed the Nvidia GeForce GTX Titan X.

The graphics card was showcased during the Epic Games presentation during the GDC 2015 conference for the first time by Nvidia’s CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang. Huang revealed that the new card is currently the world’s most powerful GPU with a number of features that should make it the perfect choice for any gaming rig.

One of the biggest features is that the card will feature more than 8 billion transistors to power applications, which is 1 billion more transistors than what was included in last year’s Nvidia Titan X GPU, which was unveiled during GDC 2014.

The card has also been fitted with a massive 12GB of VRAM, and will be powered by Nvidia’s latest Maxwell architecture.

The sad thing is that Nvidia didn’t reveal any more specifications than that, however they are set to hold their own conference in a few weeks, so we should hear more about the card around that time.

At which point we will be sure to update you.
