Today Nvidia released a new update for the games console.

With this update, they are bringing Android Nougat to the Nvidia Shield console that brings a number of new features to the console, along with support for 4K HDR content.

With this update, the console will be able to play back 4K HDR content from the Amazon Video service.

It will also replace the former Shield Hub app with a new Amazon Game app. There’s also a new recent apps page that can be accessed by double-pressing the home button to access recent apps.

It also comes with picture-in-picture support in various apps such as Live Channels and a new settings menu for faster navigation via new right-side vertical settings menus.
