Today O2 unveiled some new packages that have been designed to help you to make your home smart, called O2 Home, it will provide you with a range of devices that O2 will install and support in your home, for a monthly fee, instead of purchasing all of those device seperately and then installing it yourself.

All of these new O2 Home devices will connect to the same central O2 hub, and will be controllable via one Smartphone app on the iPhone or on Android device, as well as through a browser.

These new packs include View, Comfort, and Connect. Here’s what they include:

O2 Home View – £30 a month

  • x2 internal cameras
  • A motion sensor
  • A door sensor
  • The O2 Home hub

O2 Home Comfort – £30 a month

  • The Tado thermostat
  • x2 smart plugs
  • A motion sensor
  • The O2 Home hub

O2 Home Connect – £20 a month

  • x2 motion sensors
  • x2 door sensors
  • x2 smart plus
  • The O2 Home hub

There’s also a number of other devices that can be connected to all of these kits, with a parcel box that will allow deliveries to be placed in it securely, after which it will send you an alert to tell you that you have mail, as well as smart door lock, intruder sirens, and a key fob that will let you secure that with a click of a button.

O2 Home comes with a 2-year contract, during which time, O2 aims to add to your plan with additional support services.
