Following on from EE, the O2 has today announced their own 4G pay as you go plans, which have been set at £15 a month and grant 75 minutes of talk time, 500 texts and 500MB of data.

However alongside that you will of course need your own 4G ready handset in order to access the data.

O2 will also be doubling the package for those who stay for three months, giving you 150 minutes, 1,000 texts and a 1GB of 4G data for the same price, after six months they will then include unlimited texts.

If you want to keep on your current package there’s some bolt-ons to choose from, costing from £3 a month for 100GB, which can be upgraded to 500MB for £6 or 1GB for £25 a month, all of which will be part of the loyalty scheme above.

Existing O2 customers who have already been with O2 for six months will get this double package automatically.

If you fancy picking up a 4G PAYG sim, you can do online and in-store from today.
