O2 have today announced the launch of a new service called Tracks, which has been designed to bring the UK Top 40 chart to the phone, syncing the list overnight so its always up to date.

Powered by MusciQubed it will also allow you to access the app cast from Scott Mills, as well as celebrity gossip and the app is available to download on iOS, Android and has been planned for release on BlackBerry and Windows Phone.

O2 customers will get a two-month free trail after which their will be a £1 weekly charge for the service, non-O2 customers will have to pay £4.99 however.

This will allow you to access a curated set of playlists from the service, and will allow songs to be synced and stored locally over Wi-Fi.
