This Wednesday has not been so great for some Brits out there, dispute the unusually nice weather. The problem? O2 customers have been reported on social networks that they have had no signal for “SEVERAL HOURS”, claiming to move to another network if O2 don’t fix it (funnily enough this message is to the wrong account, so we thought we’d include it 🙂 ):

O2 have since responded to this with the statement:

“We are currently seeing a problem on our network affecting some of our customers. Those customers affected will have difficulty making or receiving calls, sending texts or using data,” which they said via their service status page and Twitter account “Our engineers are dealing with the problem as a priority and we hope to restore full service as soon as possible.”

It’s not just O2 customers felling the service so are partnered services including, Tesco Mobile and Giff Gaff. Were not sure what the problem is but the company has said on their twitter:

[update] MobilePhone comparison just noted that they have a liveblog you can keep track of here: http://mobilenetworkcomparison.co.uk/o2-outage-liveblog/
