O2 have just announced that they have launched its O2 Tracks app onto the Windows Phone Store, available for free from today for anyone with a Windows Phone 8 or Windows Phone 7.5 handset, the app will allow users to listen to the UK’s Official Top 40 Chart playlist, alongside 20 of the most popular tracks in a partnership with MusicQubed.

These can even be listened to offline, as the app will simply download all of those 60 tracks after the chart has been announced each week, available to listen to with no limits.

If you are on O2, you will be able to sign up with eight weeks free access, or two if you are not. After which the service costs a £1 a week for O2 subscribers or £4.99 a month for non-O2 customers, for O2 customers this will be part of their regular bill, non-O2 customers will be able to pay with a credit card, debit card or via PayPal.
