Omate has today unveiled something that no one has done so far, called the Omate S3, it is a smartwatch they have designed specifically for the next generation of seniors.

It comes equipped with a 1.54-inch colour capacitive touchscreen that features a 320 x 320-pixel resolution and is powered by a battery that is said to last up to 3 days from a single charge.

It also comes equipped with a GPS tracker and 3G connectivity, allowing it to be a completely stand-alone smartwatch, which is quite the important feature considering that not a lot of OAPs have a smartphone. It also runs on a custom Android operating system.

As of yet, no information on pricing or worldwide availability as of yet, however as soon as we know, we will let you know.
